Peter Kawa is a prolific and award-winning actor, director, producer, talent manager, and entrepreneur.

He is the founder and CEO of Spearhead Entertainment, a film/TV production and talent management company. Under Spearhead, Kawa manages brands and artists such as Azziad Nasenya, Jackie Kaboi, Peter Kamau,  Amalie Chopetta, Melissa Kiplagat, Natalie Tewa, and Alex Kinyanjui, among others. He is also the brains behind the arts roundtable talk show ‘Sanaa Talks’, ‘Sanaa Post’ an online arts platform, and cofounder of ‘Sanaa Academy‘, an online peer to peer skill transfer platform.

Kawa recently portrayed Malik Maka as the lead character in the highly acclaimed Showmax political action thriller ‘County 49‘ (nominated – 2022 Kalasha Awards – Best Lead Actor in a TV Drama). He has also featured in ‘Uradi’, ‘Nafsi’, and ‘Country Queen’ on Netflix. He has acted beside African greats such as Nigeria’s Rita Dominic and internationally on and South Korea’s 2021 blockbuster ‘Escape From Mogadishu’.

As a director and producer, besides having won Best Director 2019 for his feature film ‘Lost in Time’, he is also the creator of the sensational Short film on Netflix ‘Christmas Love’ (Best Short Film – Kalasha Awards 2022) and numerous short films under FilmLab Kenya. He coproduced ‘Medicine Man’ alongside Edijoe Mwaniki and Betty Furet.

Kawa is a father, a husband and certainly a friend to the entertainment industry.
